English cricketer Will Jacks is a right-handed batsman and off-spin bowler. He made his List A debut in 2018 for Surrey against Somerset in the 2018 Royal London One-Day Cup. In his third game, he scored a match-winning 121 against Gloucestershire in the same competition. Before his List A debut, he was in the England squad for the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup, where he played all six games, including the last as captain. Jacks scored English cricket's third-fastest Twenty20 fifty, off 15 balls, as Surrey beat local rivals Middlesex.
In 2021, Jacks was named in England's One Day International (ODI) squad for their series against Pakistan after the original team for the tour was forced to withdraw following positive tests for COVID-19.
As per the rules set by BPL Governing Council, each team could recruit one local player and three foreign players through direct signing. Chattogram Challengers already signed Nasum Ahmed as local direct signing and Kennar Lewis, Benny Howell as overseas direct signing.
The 2022 edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) starts on January 21, with the final to take place on February 18. The Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka, the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, and Sylhet International Cricket Stadium will host the 40 matches in the upcoming tournament. 36 matches will take place in the championship in a round-robin format, followed by three playoff games and a final.
